Hydra - Love on Wheels - vintage commercial
Video promo T-Bone created for an event we threw for Hydra Artist Studios at Skateaway in Shillington PA - loud bands & drinking... on skates!
Thanks to all the peeps that helped out on this one - T-Bone directed, shot and edited, Roxy Jackson did the sexy voice over work, Charles Terhune recorded the V.O., and a super special thanks to Caine Stenditz, Anthony Mark, Andrew Jackson, and Schon Wanner for freezing their butts off while we being wet and half naked while an industrial fan was blowing on them in an unheated warehouse in February

Sweaty Money
It's not very often you get the privilege of naming a band you have no business naming, and then, that same band gets a decent following and are super creative in their promo materials... so creative in fact that the mayor and cops of their town hound them damn near weekly for their creative promo being where it shouldn't belong.. well that's just rock and roll my friends! (- Phil V)
Aljax created this slimy, boogery, monster-fied logo for our brothers from another mother band, Sweaty Money. If you ever hear of them coming around, stop what you're doing, and go go go, it's a hell of a ride.

Hot Dog Social Club - band logo/ apparel/ motion graphics
We've always felt a band logo should be iconic enough to stand alone, but simple enough that a kid can draw it on his notebook. That it looks good black and white, or ANY mix of patterns and colors.
We were real pleased with this one, too bad the band broke up shortly after this was made. sad face...

Hail Hydra - Shirt design
We at Hydra like to support the arts in any way we can muster, one of those ways is by creating outlets for our growing community to display and sell their wares.
For example, we host artist bazaars several times a year. At these bazaars, the seven of us take turns to come up with a one color shirt design to sell as a limited edition run.
Here's a quickie one T-Bone came up with:

Distelink - Branding and naming
Our partners at Abnrml called us up and said "Good news! We're moving to Reading!" and we were like "YAY!" and they were like "We need a new name, got any ideas?" and so we were like "How about Distelink? It's like the PA Dutch distelfink, but none of the 'f'"
And that's how this shit gets made, children

Hair Royalty - Branding, cards and storefront sign
Complete branding package created for our friends at Hair Royalty in Muhlenberg, PA
After we set up the vector paths for the CNC, the wood was cut by our good pal at Bartush Signs.
After we set up the vector paths for the CNC, the wood was cut by our good pal at Bartush Signs.
We wanted the natural wood to peek through for certain details, so we primed the parts that were to be colored, and then used a 4 inch brayer roller to finish it off, so as to not fill any of the wood details
After roughly 4 coats with the brayer:
We then masked off all of the natural wood parts with painters tape, and used
bright purple spray paint to fill in the cut primed sections:
Back on the brayer, it took 5 coats of black to fill this in proper:
This is a sign that will be displayed outside, so we then used an enamel spray clear coat to give it a protective finish:
The framing and installation was completed by our Hydra partner Anthony Mark and T-Bone:
And... the spot UV silk finished mini appointment cards:

3 eyed Jesus - latch hook / found art
Our good buddy Deric found this awfully awesome latch hook Jesus at a yard sale for a couple bucks. Aljax took the time to map a third eye by re-arranging the threads.. swapped from small sections of the rest of the piece. Here's the finished rug, which now lives on the back bar wall in our beloved Hydra:
