The Wild World of David Lynch - official event poster - Mahoning Drive-In

 

We were as happy as Agent Cooper with a black coffee and a slice of cherry pie when the Mahoning Drive-In Theater asked us to create this print for The Wild World of David Lynch Fest 2 at The Mahoning Drive-In Theater in Pennsylvania. Featuring 4 of his films over 2 nights, as well as a meet and greet with 3 members of the Twin Peaks cast, Harry Goaz, Dana Ashbrook, and Michael Horse.

Our goal with this print was to make it feel like a Lynch film. In it, the viewer is alone, but is being watched. (The security camera is the same one that the mystery man holds in lost highway) There’s a lamp (often used in his films) on top of a floor model television who’s light beam cuts sharply across a picture of Laura Palmers throat, to symbolize her strangulation. The tv dial points to uhf 77, David Lynch’s age and favorite number. A lone cigarette burns in a dirty ashtray, another often used image in his films. Even the font is used in most of his credit sequences.

Limited edition of 200 offset prints available tonight and tomorrow at the @mahoningdriveintheater. Additional prints will be available at the Drive-In and through their site.

Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure/ Bogus Journey Double Feature poster

New print for Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure and Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey double feature at @mahoningdriveintheater tomorrow night, May 6th!

This entire print was created using stippling , thousands of tiny dots, to create the shadows and highlights throughout. The window display shows various era specific Circle K advertisements, as well as the garbage flying around them.

The only place to receive this version will be at the Mahoning tomorrow night. An artist edition will be made available at a later date

Anthrophobia - Frank Field's 56th annual Birthday Bash

 

We whipped up this poster for hard rock legends @anthrophobia_official for their performance at @nitrobarwestreading on March 16th, 2023.

The show spanned over 3 decades of their catalog of tunes, featuring current and past members. Got to give it Frank, he rocked the place for several hours, and could still talk afterwards.
