The concept is based off of the Acastus of Argos battle against the 7 headed Hydra for the Golden Fleece. We figured the only way to tell it in this world with what was available in the game would be through a massive glitch in the system. Little Mac is Acastus (one of the Argonauts who attempted to betray Jason and his uncle, Pelias by taking the Golden Fleece for his own), Mike Tyson is the Hydra, and the Golden Fleece is a glitch from Great Tigers' character round break.

Check us out at the upcoming "8-bit and beyond" show this Friday at Bottleneck gallery. We have a limited print run we'll be revealing at the show plus there's over 70 artists from around the world displaying pieces inspired by everything from NES to Sega to Playstation to Xbox. 

Show opens August 8th.
